BirthWays New Mom’s Group begins soon

Stacia will be starting a new Support Group for New Moms at BirthWays on March first.
It will be 6 Fridays from 12:30-2:00pm.

Here is the description from the website:

Take some time to give back to yourself and share the intensity and joys of
new motherhood with other moms. This 6 week facilitated series will cover
such topics as: sharing birth stories, finding time to heal your body and
mind, feeding your baby, adjusting to your new identity as a parent,
trusting yourself enough to know when not to listen to another piece of
“good” advice, navigating changing relationships with partners and friends,
going out with your baby, preparing to go back to work or stay home with
baby, sleep… what sleep? And most importantly, realizing that you are not
alone in this journey.

Calling all Dads!

Bruce Linton leads a group called the Father’s Forum in Berkeley, CA.  He is now expanding into a private on-line network for fathers with young children. Now dads everywhere can share their fatherhood journey.  There is a limited opportunity to help and get a free membership. This is what Bruce has to say.

“I am in the process of launching http://www.NewDadsNetwork.com this is a private social network for fathers with young children. I am looking for ”beta testers” who can become Charter Members….the site is free for life for the first 50 Charter Members. After that there will be a $15. a year fee to join. One of the unique features of the site is that you will be able to participate in a fathers group on the network. I will be creating the opportunity for dads to be in a group 6-7 dads in their own private fathers group . As time goes on I will be offering webinars and other community building activities for dads. Hope you will consider joining the adventure.
Best regards,
Bruce”
