Here is a wonderful post about a baby play space. Personally, I’d like to see more common household objects explored than store bought toys.

I recently got to talk with local Elimination Communication teacher, Simona, learn about her background and desire to spread the word about EC. Look for her classes in the Bay Area and beyond. If you’d like more information, please contact her with any questions or to sign up for a class.
Here is more about Simona and her work:
Elimination Communication (EC) is a gentle way of helping your baby use a potty instead of their diaper. It can be done if you work full-time and have caregivers or whether you use disposable or cloth diapers.
Happy Babies! Happy Parents!
Healthier – babies aren’t sitting in their own waste = no diaper rash!
Calmer – babies needs are being met immediately so they are less fussy
Happier – a deeper connection between you and baby is developed
Moms continue to report harassment when breastfeeding in public.
The recently-launched Best for Babes Nursing in Public (NIP) hotline is the place to report and record NIP incidents. When breastfeeding moms call 855-NIP-FREE (855-647-3733), hotline volunteers work to help them understand their rights, navigate through the situation, and suggest ways to approach the offending institution.
Here is a great article on baby wearing/carriers. The advantage is that it has photos to give you a visual…
